Diamond Painting Delivery Concerns with the Coronavirus(COVID-19)

Are you concerned about the coronavirus(COVID-19) when receiving your diamond painting packages in the mail? Well, from all we’ve been told so far from the CDC and other reputable sources, there is no need to be concerned about getting the virus from your package because it does not last long enough on cardboard and mail to be a concern by the time you receive your package. The CDC and World Health Organization have stated that there is currently no evidence coronavirus can spread through the mail. The CDC website states “In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets.” Department of Health officer, Karen Landers, said “I think if we look at the survivability of a virus on any surface, obviously something like cardboard, or paper, you consider the temperature, the humidity, etc. All of these factors play into the viruses survivability. But more important, I think if people are concerned about handling packages or mail, it’s reasonable that after you handle your mail or packages, wash your hands”. Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands the recommended 20 seconds. The Surgeon General has also indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through the mail.

Hopefully, this puts your mind at ease about the possibility of getting COVI-19    from your diamond painting package. After ordering from Diamond Painting Hut, the average delivery takes about 12-20 days, which is plenty of time for the package to arrive with no concerns of the virus being on the package. We appreciate all of our customer’s concerns and want you to be completely comfortable about receiving your package in the mail. Happy diamond painting!
